Widikum, in Momo Division, sits on the route between the North West and South West Regions. Its position has made it both a place people pass through and a place where displaced families have settled.
What we do here
Our work in Widikum includes shelter support, food assistance, essential household items and protection activities for displaced households and the communities hosting them.
Supporting people on the move
Families arriving in Widikum often come with nothing and are unsure whether they are stopping or moving on. We provide immediate assistance and connect people to services, including health care and psychosocial support.
Community structures
We work with parish and community leaders to identify need and to make sure assistance is understood as fair by the people who do not receive it as well as those who do.
