Our work

Njinikom

Serving communities in and around Njinikom

Njinikom, in Boyo Division, has a long association with the Catholic Church in the North West and with its health and education institutions. The area combines established church structures with rural communities under considerable strain.

What we do here

Our work in Njinikom includes health support, food assistance, education and agricultural livelihoods for displaced and host households.

Working with church institutions

Church health and education institutions in this area are an important part of how services continue to reach people. We work alongside them rather than in parallel.

Rural livelihoods

Farming remains the backbone of household income around Njinikom. Support to agriculture and to farmer groups is central to helping families recover from displacement and disrupted seasons.

Support our work

Stand with the families we serve

A gift to Caritas Bamenda becomes food on a table, a roof over a displaced family, clean water in a village, a child back in school.
