The people who carry this work
Caritas Bamenda is staffed by people from the communities we serve. Many of our colleagues have themselves been displaced, and work in conditions that are difficult and at times insecure.
Leadership
Rev. Fr. Frankline Kamgeh N. — Director
The Director leads the organisation on behalf of the Archbishop of Bamenda and is accountable to the Archdiocese for the conduct of our work.
Our teams
Our staff work across programme areas — shelter, food security, water and sanitation, health, protection, education and livelihoods — supported by colleagues in finance, procurement, logistics, human resources and monitoring and evaluation.
Field presence
We work through field teams and community structures across the areas we serve, alongside parish networks and community-based organisations who make access possible.
Investing in our people
Our staff receive training in humanitarian principles, protection and safeguarding, humanitarian access and negotiation, and the technical skills their roles require. Staff welfare and psychosocial support matter in a context where colleagues carry a heavy load.
